The Los Angeles Rams topped the Detroit Lions with a commanding 49-23 victory in Week 4 of the 2027 season. This matchup was crucial for both teams, as the Rams sought to solidify their position in the playoff race while the Lions aimed to turn their season around. Matthew Stafford was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 477 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his elite arm and decision-making. Kyren Williams contributed significantly on the ground with 155 rushing yards, while Puka Nacua was a standout in the air with a staggering 298 receiving yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that overwhelmed the Lions' defense throughout the game. On the defensive side, Trent McDuffie led the Rams with nine total tackles, helping to stifle any momentum the Lions tried to build. The turning point came in the second quarter when Stafford threw three consecutive touchdown passes, giving the Rams a commanding lead that Detroit could never overcome. Despite some pressure from the Lions’ Arion Carter, who recorded two sacks, the Rams' offensive explosion proved too much for Detroit to handle.
