In a thrilling Week 4 matchup, the Washington Commanders narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, 34-30, securing a vital win in the 2027 season. Both teams entered the game looking to assert their dominance, but it was the Commanders who came out on top, improving their record as they push for a playoff spot. Jayden Daniels delivered a standout performance for Washington, throwing for three touchdown passes and effectively orchestrating the offense. Jacory Croskey-Merritt also made significant contributions on the ground, racking up 89 rushing yards, while top receiver Xavier Worthy of Kansas City showcased his talent with 150 receiving yards, keeping the Chiefs in contention until the final whistle. Defensively, the Commanders put together a strong effort, highlighted by Leo Chenal’s 11 tackles, which were crucial in containing Mahomes and the Chiefs' explosive offense.
