In a commanding performance, the Buffalo Bills defeated the Washington Commanders 59-27 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, Buffalo showcased their offensive firepower, putting up an impressive score to solidify their position in the standings. Quarterback Jayden Daniels shone for the Commanders, throwing for 291 yards and three touchdowns, while Jacory Croskey-Merritt powered through for 116 rushing yards. Terry McLaurin was a standout target, racking up 133 receiving yards, but the Bills' relentless attack proved too much to handle. Defensively, Tyson Campbell led the Bills with five total tackles and an interception, providing a critical boost to his team's efforts. The turning point came when Buffalo's defense stifled a potential scoring drive from Washington, allowing the Bills to extend their lead and ultimately control the game. Odafe Oweh's 2.5 sacks for Washington were not enough to shift momentum, as Buffalo's balanced attack overwhelmed their opponents throughout the contest.
