In a commanding display, the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Washington Commanders 65-24 in Week 9 of the 2026 season, solidifying their place in the playoff race. The Rams showcased their offensive prowess, while the Commanders struggled to keep pace, leading to a lopsided scoreline. Matthew Stafford was the star of the game for Los Angeles, throwing for four touchdowns and consistently finding his receivers downfield. On the other side, Jayden Daniels put up impressive numbers for Washington with 364 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide. Terry McLaurin shined as well, racking up 180 receiving yards, but the Rams' defense kept him largely in check when it mattered most. Defensively, Kam Curl made a significant impact for the Rams, recording five tackles and two interceptions, further stifling Washington's attempts to mount a comeback. The turning point came early in the second half when Curl's second interception set up another Rams touchdown, extending their lead and effectively putting the game out of reach. With strong performances on both sides of the ball, the Rams proved they are a force to be reckoned with this season.
