In a high-stakes showdown, the Denver Broncos topped the Indianapolis Colts 38-24 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. The victory keeps the Broncos firmly in the playoff hunt, while the Colts face a tougher road ahead after this loss. Bo Nix led the way for Denver with a solid performance, throwing for 242 yards and contributing significantly to the Broncos' offensive output. On the opposite side, Josh Hoover showcased his arm strength with three touchdown passes, while Jonathan Taylor’s explosive 149 rushing yards kept the Colts competitive throughout the game. Courtland Sutton was a standout for Denver, racking up 135 receiving yards and making key catches to move the chains. Defensively, Ja'Quan McMillian was a game-changer for the Broncos, grabbing two crucial interceptions that shifted the momentum in their favor. Although Jonathon Cooper managed only half a sack, the pressure he and his teammates applied on Hoover forced critical mistakes. The turning point came late in the third quarter when McMillian’s second interception set up a touchdown drive, allowing the Broncos to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory.
