In a tightly contested matchup, the New England Patriots topped the Miami Dolphins 24-17 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Patriots' victory not only secures them a crucial win but also solidifies their standing in the competitive AFC East. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for two touchdowns and helping the team maintain its offensive rhythm. Jam Miller was a force on the ground, racking up 102 rushing yards to keep the Dolphins' defense on its heels. Meanwhile, Malik Willis had a strong performance for Miami, accumulating 229 passing yards, but his efforts fell short against the Patriots' relentless offense. Defensively, Robert Spillane stood out with eight total tackles, leading a balanced effort that stifled Miami's attempts to mount a comeback. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Koi Perich intercepted Willis, halting a promising Dolphins drive and allowing New England to secure the win. Harold Landry III also contributed with a key sack, putting additional pressure on the Miami quarterback when it mattered most.
