In a dominant display, the Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 50-11 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. This victory solidifies the Steelers' position as a top contender, while the Buccaneers struggle to find their footing in a challenging campaign. Michael Penix Jr. led the Steelers' offensive charge, throwing for three touchdowns and effectively orchestrating the passing game. Rico Dowdle contributed significantly on the ground with 88 rushing yards, while Baker Mayfield of the Buccaneers managed to put up 217 passing yards but struggled to keep pace with Pittsburgh's explosive offense. Ted Hurst III was the standout receiver for Tampa Bay with 82 yards, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Steelers set the tone, with Alex Highsmith recording an impressive 3.5 sacks, disrupting Mayfield's rhythm throughout the game. Joey Porter added to the Steelers' defensive dominance with two interceptions, providing critical momentum shifts that kept Tampa Bay off balance. The turning point came early in the second half when Pittsburgh scored consecutive touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Buccaneers.
