How do I use Force Wins → History?
The record of the games you have decided yourself — who won, which week, the reason you gave and when. Read-only. The full story of the tool is in Force Wins; this article is about the History list.
Where to find it
On the website: press Gameday in the sidebar, open the Force Wins tab, then press History.
On your phone: More → Gameday, then pick Force Wins from the Choose a section dropdown. Pending and History sit at the top of the section.
What this tab is for
Answering "did we ever sort that game out, and what did we say?" — without anybody having to remember.
Each line gives you the winning team and the team it beat, the week, the reason that was typed at the time, and the date and time it was decided, newest first.
It shows your ten most recent decisions. It is not the whole season's archive, and there is no page two.
Read-only, on purpose
Nothing on this tab can be pressed. A decision, once made, stands.
There is no reverse button anywhere in the product. Once you force a win the game leaves the Pending tab, so you cannot go back and press the other team's button either. If a decision turns out to be wrong, that is a conversation with the two owners, not a control on this page.
This is also why the reason box on the Pending tab is worth using. The reason you type is the only explanation that reaches this tab.
Common problems
- It says "No Forced Decisions Yet" and I know I made one. Check you are looking at the right league. Decisions are recorded per server.
- An older decision has dropped off. Only the ten most recent are listed, and there is nowhere else to look them up. If a decision matters beyond the next ten, write it down somewhere of your own at the time you make it.
- The reason is blank. It was left blank when the decision was made — the box is optional. Nothing was lost.
- I want to undo one of these. You cannot. Nothing in the product reverses a forced win.
- Is the decision in Madden too? Yes. When you press the button on the Pending tab, the result is forced inside your franchise first, then recorded here — see Force Wins.
