In a tightly contested matchup, the Billings Lumberjacks outlasted the Baltimore Bolts with a final score of 28-20, securing their second win of the season. The stakes were high in Week 2, with both teams eager to establish momentum early in the 2027 campaign. Brock Purdy led the passing attack for the Bolts, throwing for 233 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively through the air. On the ground, Nick Singleton carried the load for the Lumberjacks with a solid 72 rushing yards, while A.J. Brown was a standout for Baltimore, racking up 99 receiving yards in a losing effort. The game turned when Jalen Pitre intercepted Purdy late in the second half, stifling a potential scoring drive and allowing the Lumberjacks to extend their lead.
