The Bar Harbor Sailors secured a decisive 31-10 victory over the Salt Lake Paladins in Week 8 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position as a playoff contender. With this win, the Sailors improved their record and showcased their offensive firepower while the Paladins struggled to keep pace. Leading the charge for Bar Harbor was quarterback C.J. Stroud, who threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating precision and poise in the pocket. Samaje Perine contributed significantly on the ground with 63 rushing yards, while Brenen Thompson of the Paladins put up a strong performance with 107 receiving yards, though it was not enough to turn the tide for his team. Defensively, the Sailors made their presence felt, with Danielle Hunter recording 1.5 sacks and A.J. Terrell Jr. snagging an interception, which proved critical in shifting momentum. The turning point came in the second quarter when Terrell's interception set up a quick touchdown drive, allowing Bar Harbor to take control of the game and never look back.
