The Albuquerque Vultures secured a convincing 37-20 victory over the Baltimore Bolts in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position as a formidable contender. This matchup was crucial for both teams vying for playoff positioning, and the Vultures made a statement with their dominant performance. Patrick Mahomes led the way for Albuquerque, throwing for an impressive 405 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his elite skill set. His favorite target, Caleb Douglas, had a standout game as well, racking up 173 receiving yards, which allowed the Vultures to take control of the game early on. The offensive fireworks from Albuquerque proved too much for the Bolts to handle. Defensively, the Vultures were equally impactful, highlighted by Jeremy Chinn's two interceptions that shifted momentum back to Albuquerque at critical moments. While Josh Sweat of the Bolts provided a strong pass rush with two sacks, it was the Vultures' defense that ultimately sealed the game. The turning point came when Chinn's second pick set up a touchdown that extended Albuquerque's lead, leaving Baltimore unable to recover.
