In a decisive Week 9 matchup, the Brooklyn Knights topped the Bar Harbor Sailors with a final score of 28-14. This victory not only boosts Brooklyn's playoff aspirations but also marks a critical moment in the 2027 season as they seek to solidify their standing in the league. Leading the offensive charge for the Knights was Jaxson Dart, who threw for 213 yards and showcased efficient playmaking throughout the game. Trey Benson contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 92 rushing yards, while Malik Nabers emerged as a standout target with 100 receiving yards. Anthony Richardson Sr. of the Sailors managed to toss one touchdown pass, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Knights' offensive firepower. On the defensive side, the game turned when Ivan Pace Jr. intercepted a crucial pass, stifling Bar Harbor's momentum in the second half. Though Danielle Hunter put forth a strong performance with two sacks for the Sailors, Brooklyn's defense held firm, limiting Bar Harbor's scoring opportunities and ultimately securing the win. A.J. Terrell Jr. led the Sailors in tackles, but it was the Knights' ability to force turnovers that proved decisive in this matchup.
