In a thrilling Week 10 matchup, the Las Vegas Lotus narrowly defeated the Blacksburg Vipers with a final score of 32-24, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Both teams fought hard, but it was the Lotus who managed to hold off a late rally from the Vipers to secure the victory. Offensively, the Lotus shone with standout performances from Fernando Mendoza, who threw for three touchdowns, and Jason Boykin, who dominated on the ground and through the air, racking up 182 rushing yards and 159 receiving yards. The combination of Mendoza's precision and Boykin's explosive plays kept the Vipers' defense on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Lotus made crucial stops, highlighted by Cole Bishop's eight total tackles and B.J. Wall's sack that disrupted Blacksburg's momentum. The game turned when Mendoza connected with Boykin for a critical touchdown late in the third quarter, putting the Lotus ahead for good. Despite a valiant effort from Dak Prescott, who threw for 419 yards for the Vipers, it was the Lotus' timely defense and explosive offense that sealed the win.
