In a thrilling Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, the New York Mafia held off the Brooklyn Knights with a final score of 33-22. With both teams vying for a crucial early-season victory, the Mafia showcased their offensive firepower while the Knights aimed to rebound from a shaky start. Leading the charge for the Brooklyn Knights was Jaxson Dart, who threw for 251 yards and one touchdown, keeping his team competitive throughout. However, it was Antonio Gibson of the New York Mafia who stole the show, racking up an impressive 215 rushing yards, proving to be a game-changer on the ground. Jalin Hyatt also made his presence felt for the Knights, finishing with 84 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a win. On the defensive side, the Mafia's ability to pressure Dart played a significant role in the outcome, highlighted by Romello Height's sack and Donovan Ezeiruaku's interception, which shifted momentum in favor of New York. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Ezeiruaku's pick set up a critical touchdown drive, allowing the Mafia to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory.
