In a crucial Week 16 matchup, the Albuquerque Vultures topped the Sacramento Banditz with a final score of 24-11, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the regular season winds down. The Vultures showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, proving too much for the Banditz in this pivotal contest. Quarterback Justin Herbert led the Banditz with a strong performance, throwing for 265 yards, while Dont'e Thornton Jr. was his primary target, racking up 74 receiving yards. However, it was Juan Bradford of the Vultures who stole the show on the ground, rushing for 95 yards and providing a consistent offensive threat that kept the Banditz' defense on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Vultures capitalized at critical moments, with Daiyan Henley snagging an interception that shifted momentum in their favor. Despite Aidan Hutchinson's impressive two sacks for Sacramento, the Vultures' ability to apply pressure and contain the Banditz’ passing game proved decisive. The turning point came when Henley’s interception led to a quick touchdown, allowing Albuquerque to seize control and maintain their lead for the remainder of the contest.
