In a decisive Week 13 matchup, the Buffalo Bills topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 27-13, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season approaches its climax. This victory showcases the Bills' capability to control the game, while the Patriots now face a critical crossroads as they look to salvage their season. Drake Maye led the Patriots with a solid performance, throwing for 221 yards and a touchdown, but it was James Cook III who shined for the Bills, rushing for 59 yards and maintaining a steady ground game. Romeo Doubs impressed for the Patriots with 109 receiving yards, yet the lack of offensive consistency ultimately hampered their efforts to keep pace with Buffalo. Defensively, the Bills made their mark, with Greg Rousseau registering two sacks that disrupted New England's offensive rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came in the third quarter when Rousseau's pressure led to a critical turnover, allowing Buffalo to extend their lead and apply further pressure on the Patriots. Overall, Buffalo's defense demonstrated its strength, stifling New England's attempts to mount a comeback.
