The New York Jets secured a decisive 48-21 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17 of the 2026 season, clinching a crucial win as they head into the playoffs. This matchup showcased the Jets' offensive firepower, demonstrating their readiness for postseason play while the Vikings struggled to find their rhythm on both sides of the ball. Cade Klubnik led the Jets' offensive onslaught with three touchdown passes, proving instrumental in the team’s commanding performance. Kene Nwangwu also contributed significantly with 89 rushing yards, providing a balanced attack that kept the Vikings' defense guessing. Minnesota's Kyler Murray had a solid outing, throwing for 312 yards and keeping the game competitive, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Jets’ scoring barrage. Defensively, the Jets applied consistent pressure, with Joseph Ossai contributing with half a sack, but the real turning point came in the second quarter when the Jets scored three unanswered touchdowns. The Vikings attempted to respond but fell short, as Marcus Williams led the Vikings' defense with ten total tackles, ultimately unable to contain the Jets' explosive plays.
