The Seattle Seahawks topped the Minnesota Vikings 27-14 in a Week 2 showdown of the 2027 season, securing their first victory of the year. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the season, the Seahawks managed to outlast the Vikings with a balanced offensive attack. Jalen Milroe led the Seahawks with a commanding performance, throwing for 282 yards and two touchdowns. He connected frequently with Rashid Shaheed, who racked up 94 receiving yards, helping to keep the Vikings' defense on their heels. On the ground, the Vikings' Jordan Mason made a strong case with 93 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Seattle’s offensive firepower. Seattle's defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, highlighted by Dudley Irving's two sacks and Devon Witherspoon's interception. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Witherspoon picked off a pass, setting up a touchdown that extended the Seahawks' lead to 14 points. The Vikings struggled to recover from that momentum shift, sealing Seattle's victory as they capitalized on both ends of the field.
