In a nail-biter at Soldier Field, the Chicago Bears narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 17-16 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. This victory not only boosts the Bears' confidence but also maintains their momentum as they push for a playoff spot in a competitive NFC landscape. Caleb Williams led the charge for Chicago, throwing for 129 yards and a touchdown, showcasing poise under pressure. His favorite target, Zavion Thomas, delivered a solid performance with 81 receiving yards, while D'Andre Swift anchored the ground game with 102 rushing yards, providing a balanced offensive attack that kept the Chargers' defense on their toes. Defensively, the Bears made crucial plays to secure the win, highlighted by Nicolas Fernandez's two interceptions that shifted the momentum in their favor. Despite the standout performance from Chargers' Derwin James Jr., who racked up 11 tackles, it was a late turnover that sealed the game for Chicago, allowing them to hold off a late surge from Los Angeles and clinch the victory.
