In a dominating performance, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Los Angeles Chargers 55-28 in Week 8 of the 2027 season. The victory keeps the Ravens firmly in the playoff picture as they showcase their offensive prowess against a struggling Chargers defense. Lamar Jackson led the charge for Baltimore, throwing for 300 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 99 yards on the ground. His ability to make plays with both his arm and legs was pivotal, keeping the Chargers' defense on their heels throughout the game. Brenen Thompson had a standout performance for Los Angeles, racking up 97 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Baltimore's offensive fireworks. The Ravens’ defense managed to contain the Chargers for much of the game, but the turning point came in the third quarter when a critical interception by Junior Colson halted a potential scoring drive. Despite Nadame Tucker's impressive two sacks for Los Angeles, the overall defensive effort fell short, allowing Baltimore to pull away and secure the convincing victory.
