In a commanding display, the Seattle Seahawks shut out the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 21-0 in Week 9 of the 2027 season. This victory not only boosts Seattle's playoff hopes but also serves as a stark reminder of their defensive prowess and offensive efficiency. Quarterback Jalen Milroe led the Seahawks offensively, throwing for 142 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to find the end zone. Tory Horton was his primary target, racking up 70 receiving yards, while Antoine Darby contributed on the ground with 25 rushing yards, providing just enough balance to keep the Rams' defense on their heels. The Seahawks' defense was relentless, holding the Rams scoreless and limiting their offensive production. Rylie Mills led the charge with two total tackles, while the Rams' Myles Garrett managed to record one sack but struggled to disrupt Seattle's rhythm. The turning point came early in the second half when Milroe threw his second touchdown, effectively sealing the game and leaving the Rams with little hope of a comeback.
