In a dominant performance, the Chicago Bears topped the Minnesota Vikings 52-20 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The Bears showcased their offensive prowess and defensive strength, setting a high bar early in the season. With this victory, Chicago establishes itself as a team to watch in the league. D'Andre Swift was the star of the show, rushing for an impressive 301 yards, consistently breaking through the Vikings' defense and finding the end zone. Kyler Murray of Minnesota did his best to keep pace, throwing for 306 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Bears' relentless attack. Jordan Mason also contributed significantly for the Vikings with 111 receiving yards, providing a bright spot in an otherwise challenging outing. Defensively, the Bears made their mark with Montez Sweat recording a sack and Dillon Thieneman snagging an interception, both pivotal in disrupting Minnesota’s rhythm. The turning point came early in the second half when Chicago’s defense forced a crucial turnover, allowing Swift to capitalize with a long touchdown run, effectively putting the game out of reach. With this win, the Bears send a strong message to the rest of the league about their championship aspirations.
