In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the Denver Broncos topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 31-23, solidifying their position early in the season. With both teams seeking momentum, the stakes were high, and Denver’s offense proved too potent for New England to handle. Bo Nix was the star for the Broncos, throwing for an impressive 402 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the team effectively. He connected with Jaylen Waddle, who racked up 179 receiving yards, creating a formidable duo that kept the Patriots' defense on their heels throughout the game. Meanwhile, TreVeyon Henderson paced the Patriots' ground game with 50 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Denver's aerial assault. Defensively, the game was marked by Isaiah Glasker's impactful performance, registering a sack that disrupted New England’s offensive rhythm. While Christian Gonzalez led the Patriots with nine total tackles, the turning point came when Nix orchestrated a quick touchdown drive in the fourth quarter that ultimately sealed the victory for Denver. The Broncos' defense held firm in critical moments, ensuring their lead would stand until the final whistle.
