In a commanding performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Indianapolis Colts 27-3 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. With this victory, the Buccaneers solidify their position in the playoff race, while the Colts continue to struggle to find their footing this season. Offensively, Bucky Irving was the standout for Tampa Bay, contributing significantly with 49 rushing yards and leading the team in receiving with 71 yards. LaNorris Sellers added to the Buccaneers' offensive success, throwing for a touchdown that helped extend their lead. Indianapolis' Anthony Richardson Sr. managed 171 passing yards but struggled to convert that into points. Defensively, the Buccaneers were relentless, with Rueben Bain Jr. recording two sacks and Tykee Smith snagging two crucial interceptions. The turning point in the game came in the second quarter when Smith's second interception halted a Colts drive and shifted momentum firmly in Tampa Bay's favor. Kip Lewis also made his presence felt with three total tackles, contributing to a dominant defensive display that limited the Colts to just three points.
