The Seattle Seahawks topped the Chicago Bears 20-6 in a decisive Week 16 matchup, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season nears its conclusion. With both teams eyeing a crucial victory, the Seahawks proved to be too strong on both sides of the ball, ultimately controlling the game. Leading the offense, Sam Darnold delivered a stellar performance, throwing for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Jaxon Smith-Njigba was his top target, racking up 79 receiving yards, while the Bears' Kyle Monangai stood out in a losing effort with 121 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to shift the momentum in Chicago's favor. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with Devon Witherspoon leading the charge with seven total tackles, effectively stifling the Bears' offensive efforts. The game’s turning point came when Seattle capitalized on a turnover, allowing Darnold to orchestrate a touchdown drive that shifted the game's dynamics, giving the Seahawks a comfortable lead they would not relinquish.
