In a thrilling Week 17 showdown, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the Dallas Cowboys 38-35, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season comes to a close. With stakes high for both teams, it was a game that showcased the resilience and grit of the Jets, who now look to carry momentum into the postseason. Dak Prescott was the standout performer for the Cowboys, throwing for an impressive 473 yards and four touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to clinch the win. CeeDee Lamb also shone brightly, racking up 209 receiving yards and proving to be a constant threat downfield. Meanwhile, Breece Hall paced the Jets' ground game with 74 rushing yards, contributing crucial plays to keep the chains moving. Defensively, the Jets were led by Will McDonald IV, who registered a sack that proved pivotal in stalling a potential game-winning drive for the Cowboys. Despite the Cowboys' impressive offensive numbers, the Jets' defense made key stops at critical moments, including a late fourth-quarter interception that sealed the victory. The turning point of the game came when the Jets capitalized on a Cowboys turnover, allowing them to regain momentum and ultimately secure the win.
