In a decisive opening matchup for the 2027 season, the Tennessee Titans topped the Miami Dolphins 38-21. With both teams eager to establish momentum early in the campaign, the Titans showcased their offensive prowess, putting the Dolphins on the back foot from the start. Dorian Thompson-Robinson led the Titans with poise, throwing for two touchdowns and keeping the chains moving effectively. Bobby Walker provided a solid ground game, racking up 78 rushing yards, while the Titans' balanced attack allowed them to dominate time of possession. On the other side, Malik Willis threw for 215 yards but struggled to find the end zone, limiting Miami's offensive output. Defensively, the Titans managed to disrupt Miami's rhythm, forcing key turnovers and maintaining pressure throughout the game. The turning point came late in the second quarter when the Titans' defense capitalized on a fumble, leading to a quick touchdown that shifted momentum decisively. Despite Louis Moore's impressive two interceptions for Miami, the Titans' relentless offense proved too much to handle, securing a comfortable win.
