The Cleveland Browns secured a convincing 34-18 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 2 of the 2027 season, showcasing their offensive prowess and setting the tone for their campaign. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the year, the Browns delivered a dominant performance that has them positioned as a team to watch. Cleveland's offense was led by quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for an impressive 346 yards, connecting effectively with wide receiver Trey Palmer, who tallied 122 receiving yards. Quinshon Judkins contributed significantly on the ground with 70 rushing yards, helping to keep the chains moving and the Broncos' defense on its heels throughout the game. Bo Nix managed to throw for a touchdown for Denver, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Browns' offensive explosion. Defensively, the Browns made their presence felt, particularly through the efforts of Jared Verse, who recorded three sacks, disrupting Denver's rhythm and putting pressure on their quarterback. The turning point came midway through the third quarter when Verse's third sack led to a fumble recovery, allowing the Browns to extend their lead. The Broncos struggled to find their footing, ultimately unable to overcome the deficit as Cleveland's defense clamped down in the second half.
