In a commanding performance, the Arizona Cardinals topped the Cincinnati Bengals 45-21 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. The win solidified the Cardinals' position as a playoff contender, while the Bengals faced a tough defeat that raises questions about their postseason aspirations. Joe Burrow led the Bengals with a strong outing, tossing for 244 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Cardinals’ offensive firepower. On the other side, Arizona’s Trey McBride was a standout, racking up 114 receiving yards and providing crucial support in the passing game. The Cardinals’ balanced attack kept the Bengals' defense on its heels throughout the contest. Defensively, the Cardinals made a significant impact, with Josh Sweat registering 2.5 sacks, disrupting Burrow's rhythm and pressuring him consistently. Budda Baker also contributed with an interception, which was pivotal in shifting momentum back to Arizona. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when the Cardinals scored two quick touchdowns, turning a competitive contest into a decisive lead that the Bengals couldn't recover from.
