In a thrilling Week 2 showdown, the Cleveland Browns emerged victorious, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-20. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the 2026 season, this game proved pivotal for both franchises as they aimed for a strong start. Baker Mayfield shone for the Buccaneers, throwing for 245 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense. However, it was Quinshon Judkins of the Browns who stole the spotlight on the ground, racking up 109 rushing yards and proving to be a crucial asset in Cleveland’s offensive strategy. The combination of Judkins' power running and timely passes from the Browns' quarterback kept Tampa's defense on its heels. On the defensive side, the Browns made their mark with Donovan McMillon leading the charge with nine total tackles, while Julian Okwara contributed significantly with 1.5 sacks. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Okwara's pressure on Mayfield led to a critical turnover, allowing Cleveland to maintain their lead and secure the win. The Buccaneers fought hard but ultimately fell short, unable to capitalize on their offensive efforts in the final moments.
