In a decisive victory, the Denver Broncos topped the Kansas City Chiefs 31-14 in Week 8 of the 2026 season. The win not only boosts Denver's playoff hopes but also serves as a significant statement against one of their top rivals in the division. Bo Nix led the charge for the Broncos, throwing for 2 touchdowns and amassing 200 passing yards. Jonah Coleman complemented the aerial attack with a strong ground game, rushing for 86 yards, while Evan Engram emerged as a standout receiver with 112 yards. The Broncos’ balanced offensive performance kept the Chiefs' defense on their heels throughout the matchup. Defensively, the Broncos made their mark with a strong performance, highlighted by Nik Bonitto's 2 sacks and Ja'Quan McMillian’s crucial interception. The pivotal moment came in the second quarter when McMillian picked off a pass, setting up a touchdown that put Denver ahead 21-7.
