The Arizona Cardinals secured a hard-fought 23-17 victory over the Denver Broncos in a Week 7 showdown that kept their playoff hopes alive. With both teams looking to improve their standings, this matchup proved crucial as the season approaches its midpoint. Bo Nix put up impressive numbers for the Broncos, throwing for 305 yards, while J.K. Dobbins added a solid 103 rushing yards. However, it was Carson Beck's lone touchdown pass that ultimately made the difference for Arizona. Jaylen Waddle also shined in the receiving game for Denver, racking up 106 yards, but it wasn't enough to clinch the win. Defensively, the Cardinals made key plays that shifted momentum, with Budda Baker's interception and Garrett Williams' sack applying consistent pressure on Nix. Andrew Wingard led the defense with eight tackles, helping to stifle Denver's offensive efforts at critical moments. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter, when Baker's interception set up a crucial scoring drive, sealing the game for Arizona.
