In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the Atlanta Falcons topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 21-3, solidifying their playoff ambitions in the 2026 season. With both teams aiming for a crucial win, the Falcons’ performance showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball. Falcons running back Bijan Robinson led the ground attack with 96 rushing yards, while the passing game was anchored by the 49ers’ Brock Purdy, who threw for 273 yards but struggled to find the end zone. De'Zhaun Stribling emerged as a standout receiver for San Francisco, racking up 119 yards, yet the 49ers were unable to convert their yardage into points. Defensively, the Falcons made a significant impact, with Deonte Banks recording nine tackles and an interception, while Jalon Walker contributed 2.5 sacks to disrupt Purdy’s rhythm. The turning point came in the second half when Banks picked off a crucial pass, setting up a touchdown drive that put Atlanta comfortably ahead. The 49ers could not recover, as the Falcons' defense stifled their offensive efforts throughout the game.
