In a thrilling Week 6 matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35-32, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The stakes were high as both teams sought to improve their standing in the competitive league, but it was the Steelers who emerged victorious in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. Baker Mayfield of the Buccaneers showcased his arm strength, passing for 322 yards and throwing two touchdown passes, but it was Jaylen Warren who stole the show on the ground for Pittsburgh, racking up 105 rushing yards. The Steelers' offense was balanced and efficient, with key contributions from their receiving corps, making crucial plays at pivotal moments. Defensively, Patrick Queen led the charge for Pittsburgh with 13 total tackles, a performance that was instrumental in limiting Tampa Bay's scoring opportunities. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Steelers' defense stepped up, forcing a critical turnover that allowed them to maintain their slim lead. Although Jacob Parrish of the Buccaneers snagged an interception, it wasn't enough to stop the Steelers from holding off a late-game surge by Tampa Bay.
