In a thrilling Week 4 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 34-27, marking a significant victory as both teams look to solidify their playoff aspirations early in the season. The Texans' win was crucial, giving them momentum and positioning them favorably in the competitive landscape of the AFC. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with a stellar performance, throwing for 325 yards and showcasing his poise under pressure. Woody Marks complemented the passing attack with a strong ground game, racking up 102 rushing yards, while Kayshon Boutte was a standout in the receiving corps, amassing 129 yards and proving to be a reliable target for Stroud. Dak Prescott kept the Cowboys in the game with two touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Cowboys had some bright spots, particularly with Donovan Ezeiruaku, who recorded 2.5 sacks, while DeMarvion Overshown led the team with five tackles. However, it was Houston's defense that made the critical plays, forcing crucial turnovers that swung momentum in their favor. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Texans intercepted a Prescott pass, sealing the game and ensuring their victory at home.
