In a tightly contested matchup, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Washington Commanders 20-12 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. This victory places the Colts in a favorable position as they continue to build momentum in the league, while the Commanders look to regroup after a tough loss at home. Offensively, it was a showcase of talent, particularly from Washington's Jayden Daniels, who threw for 248 yards and a touchdown. Despite the loss, Daniels connected effectively with his star receiver Terry McLaurin, who racked up 92 receiving yards. On the other side, Jonathan Taylor led the Colts' ground attack with 74 rushing yards, contributing significantly to the team's overall performance. Defensively, the Colts made their mark with a standout performance from Charvarius Ward Sr., who recorded three crucial interceptions that shifted the momentum in favor of Indianapolis. The turning point came late in the game when Ward's third pick thwarted a potential scoring drive for the Commanders, sealing the victory for the Colts. Camryn Bynum also played a key role, leading the team with nine tackles, ensuring that Washington's offense was kept in check throughout the contest.
