In a dominant performance, the Detroit Lions defeated the Atlanta Falcons 45-7 in Week 13 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Lions solidify their playoff positioning, while the Falcons face a critical juncture in their campaign. Jared Goff shone brightly for Detroit, throwing for 266 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his accuracy and decision-making throughout the game. Complementing Goff's air attack, Jahmyr Gibbs added a solid ground game with 76 rushing yards, while Darius Slayton emerged as a primary target, racking up 115 receiving yards and stretching the field effectively. On the defensive side, the Lions made their presence felt, with Jack Campbell intercepting a pass to halt any momentum the Falcons hoped to build. Despite Divine Deablo’s 12 tackles for Atlanta, the Lions' relentless pressure and timely stops were pivotal, marking a turning point when they shut down a late first-half drive, allowing Detroit to pull away and secure a commanding lead.
