In a tightly contested matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs held off the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 28-20 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams were eager to secure a crucial victory, but it was Kansas City that emerged victorious, showcasing their resilience in a high-pressure environment. Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs' offense with precision, throwing for two touchdowns and keeping the chains moving throughout the game. On the other side, Sam Darnold put up impressive numbers, racking up 322 passing yards, while Jadarian Price made his mark on the ground with 83 rushing yards. Jaxon Smith-Njigba stood out as a receiving threat for Seattle, totaling 151 yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Chiefs' scoring prowess. Defensively, Nohl Williams was a game-changer for Kansas City, intercepting Darnold twice to halt promising drives. Although Seattle's defense was highlighted by DeMarcus Lawrence's sack and Ernest Jones IV's eight tackles, they struggled to contain the explosive Kansas City offense when it mattered most. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Williams' second interception shifted momentum back to the Chiefs, allowing them to run out the clock and seal the victory.
