In an impressive showing, the Arizona Cardinals defeated the San Francisco 49ers 24-7 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. This victory solidifies the Cardinals' early position in the NFC West, while the 49ers will need to regroup as they face growing challenges in their campaign. Jacoby Brissett led the Cardinals’ offense with a stellar performance, throwing for 252 yards and three touchdowns. His ability to connect consistently with his targets proved pivotal, while Jeremiyah Love added a balanced rushing attack with 58 yards, helping to keep the 49ers' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Cardinals were relentless, highlighted by Kei'Trel Clark's two interceptions that shifted momentum in favor of Arizona. The turning point came when Clark picked off a pass in the second quarter, setting up a touchdown that extended the lead to 17-0. Despite Osa Odighizuwa's strong effort with two sacks for the 49ers, it wasn't enough to ignite a comeback as Arizona's defense held firm throughout the game.
