In a closely contested battle, the Jacksonville Jaguars emerged victorious over the Denver Broncos with a final score of 26 to 20. This Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season showcased both teams vying for early-season momentum, but it was the Jaguars who ultimately secured the win. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars' offense with precision, throwing for two touchdowns and providing the spark needed to keep the Broncos' defense on their heels. While Bo Nix of the Broncos recorded 217 passing yards, it was J.K. Dobbins who made a significant impact on the ground with 83 rushing yards, keeping the Denver offense competitive throughout the game. Troy Franklin also contributed with 61 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Jacksonville's scoring prowess. Defensively, the Jaguars showcased their strength, highlighted by Arik Armstead's impressive two sacks that disrupted Denver's offensive rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Armstead's pressure forced an errant throw from Nix, leading to a critical turnover that allowed Jacksonville to maintain their lead. With Alex Singleton's ten tackles, the Broncos' defense fought valiantly, but it ultimately fell short against the Jaguars' well-rounded performance.
