In an explosive opening to the 2026 season, the Indianapolis Colts triumphed over the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 56-33. The Colts set the tone early, showcasing their offensive firepower and establishing a dominant lead that the Ravens could not overcome. With the victory, Indianapolis sends a strong message to the league about their championship aspirations this year. Leading the charge for the Colts was running back Jonathan Taylor, who racked up an impressive 274 rushing yards, leaving defenders in his wake. Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. contributed effectively, throwing for 183 yards and managing the game well. On the other side, Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes for Baltimore, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Colts' onslaught. Defensively, the Colts made key plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Grover Stewart recorded two sacks, consistently pressuring Jackson and disrupting the Ravens' rhythm. Akeem Davis-Gaither added an interception, further stalling any potential comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Indianapolis capitalized on a turnover, extending their lead and forcing Baltimore to play catch-up for the remainder of the game.
