In a tightly contested Week 9 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers secured a 24-13 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, reinforcing their playoff aspirations. With this win, the 49ers continue to establish themselves as a formidable force in the league, while the Raiders face mounting pressure as the season progresses. Offensively, the 49ers were led by Christian McCaffrey, who dominated the ground game with an impressive 162 rushing yards. Quarterback Brock Purdy added to the effort with a touchdown pass, while Christian Kirk contributed in the air, racking up 81 receiving yards. This offensive firepower proved too much for the Raiders to handle. On the defensive side, the 49ers made significant contributions, particularly from Jonathon Cooper, who recorded two sacks to disrupt the Raiders' passing game. Dre Greenlaw anchored the defense with four total tackles, showcasing the team's ability to stifle Las Vegas' offensive plans. The turning point came in the third quarter when a key sack from Cooper led to a turnover, allowing San Francisco to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win.
