In a thrilling Divisional Round matchup, the Minnesota Vikings topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 45-28, securing their spot in the next phase of the playoffs. The stakes were high as both teams aimed for a coveted berth in the conference championship, but it was the Vikings who came out on top, showcasing their offensive prowess. Leading the charge for Minnesota was quarterback Kyler Murray, who threw for an impressive 367 yards and four touchdowns, effectively dictating the pace of the game. Tight end T.J. Hockenson was a key target, racking up 119 receiving yards, while running back Demond Claiborne contributed with 75 rushing yards to keep the 49ers’ defense on its heels throughout the contest. On the defensive side, the Vikings made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Jake Golday's three interceptions were instrumental, halting potential scoring drives from San Francisco and turning the tide decisively. The Vikings' defense, along with Caleb Farley’s five total tackles, proved vital in containing the 49ers, particularly during a critical stretch in the second half that saw Minnesota pull away for good.
