In a pivotal Week 17 matchup, the Green Bay Packers topped the Houston Texans with a final score of 21-11, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season winds down. With both teams hungry for a victory, the stakes were high, making this contest a critical one for both franchises. Green Bay's offense was led by Jordan Love, who threw for 201 yards and a touchdown, demonstrating efficiency in the passing game. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs provided a solid ground attack with 72 rushing yards, helping to control the tempo of the game. On the other side, C.J. Stroud managed to put up 229 passing yards for the Texans, showcasing his talent despite the loss, with Nico Collins emerging as a key target, racking up 95 receiving yards. Defensively, the Packers were anchored by Edgerrin Cooper, who recorded seven tackles, consistently disrupting Houston's offensive rhythm. The turning point came in the second half when Green Bay's defense forced a critical turnover, allowing the Packers to extend their lead and maintain control. Will Anderson Jr. of the Texans put up a strong performance with two sacks, but it was not enough to shift the momentum back in Houston’s favor as Green Bay held firm for the victory.
