In a tightly contested matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Chicago Bears 27-21 in Week 13 of the 2026 season. With playoff positions on the line, both teams fought hard, but the Jaguars ultimately prevailed, securing a crucial victory that keeps their postseason hopes alive. Trevor Lawrence led the way for Jacksonville, throwing for 239 yards and showcasing his ability to manage the game effectively. Nick Singleton added a solid ground game with 63 rushing yards, while the Bears struggled to contain the Jaguars' offensive momentum. Caleb Williams kept Chicago in the hunt with two passing touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Lawrence's efficiency. Defensively, the Jaguars made critical plays to stymie the Bears’ offense, with Jailin Walker recording eight total tackles to anchor the unit. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Dillon Thieneman intercepted a pass, thwarting a potential game-tying drive by Chicago and allowing Jacksonville to run down the clock for the victory. Despite Grady Jarrett's pressure on the quarterback, the Bears could not capitalize defensively, allowing the Jaguars to secure the win.
