In a decisive Week 9 matchup, the Los Angeles Rams topped the Washington Commanders 34-17, solidifying their playoff position as the season approaches its final stretch. Both teams were looking for crucial momentum, but the Rams’ offensive prowess proved too much for the Commanders to handle. Leading the charge for Los Angeles was quarterback Matthew Stafford, who threw for 252 yards and a touchdown. Kyren Williams added a significant ground presence with 101 rushing yards, while Puka Nacua showcased his receiving skills with 102 yards, helping the Rams maintain control throughout the game. On the defensive side, Jaylen Watson led the Rams with seven total tackles, contributing to a solid performance that kept the Commanders' offense in check. The game's turning point came when the Rams capitalized on a key turnover, allowing them to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win. Despite Odafe Oweh's impressive two sacks for Washington, it wasn’t enough to shift the momentum in their favor.
