The Detroit Lions secured a decisive 36-22 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams eager to claim a critical win, the Lions showcased their dominance on home turf, effectively keeping the Packers at bay throughout the contest. Jordan Love led the Packers with a stellar performance, throwing for 360 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Lions' offensive firepower. Amon-Ra St. Brown was a standout receiver, racking up 148 yards, while Jahmyr Gibbs contributed a solid ground game with 80 rushing yards, helping to maintain the Lions' offensive momentum. Defensively, the Lions were able to disrupt the Packers' game plan, with D.J. Reed making his presence felt by recording six tackles and snagging an interception. The turning point came in the second half when Reed's interception shifted the momentum, allowing the Lions to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win with a balanced offensive attack and a staunch defensive effort.
