The Denver Broncos topped the San Francisco 49ers with a commanding 48-24 victory in Week 4 of the 2026 season. With this decisive win, the Broncos solidify their position as a contender in the league, demonstrating offensive prowess and defensive tenacity throughout the game. Bo Nix led the charge for Denver, throwing for 293 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers. Courtland Sutton was the standout target, racking up an impressive 130 receiving yards, making crucial catches that kept drives alive. Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey provided a solid ground game for the 49ers, accumulating 89 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Denver's explosive offense. On the defensive side, the Broncos made a significant impact with Justin Strnad’s remarkable performance, recording three interceptions that shifted the momentum firmly in Denver's favor. Jonathon Cooper added pressure with a sack, further complicating the 49ers' attempts to mount a comeback. The game’s turning point came late in the second quarter when Strnad's third interception thwarted San Francisco's efforts to close the gap, allowing the Broncos to capitalize and extend their lead.
