The Atlanta Falcons topped the Green Bay Packers 34-20 in a key Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the season, the Falcons emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their standing in the league. Deshaun Watson was the standout performer for Atlanta, throwing for three touchdowns and effectively leading the offense. Bijan Robinson contributed significantly on the ground with 97 rushing yards, while the receiving corps made big plays to keep the chains moving. Jordan Love of the Packers put up a commendable effort with 316 passing yards, and Jayden Reed caught for 114 yards, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide. Defensively, Micah Parsons made his presence felt with a sack, but it was Edgerrin Cooper's nine tackles that highlighted the Packers' struggles to contain the Falcons' explosive offense. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when Watson connected with his receivers for two quick touchdowns, putting Atlanta ahead and forcing Green Bay to play catch-up for the remainder of the contest. The Falcons' defense held steady, allowing them to maintain control and secure the win.
