The Las Vegas Raiders advanced to the next round of the playoffs with a 24-14 victory over the New England Patriots in the Wildcard Round of the 2026 season. This matchup was critical for both teams, as they aimed to secure a spot in the divisional playoffs and keep their championship hopes alive. Ashton Jeanty was the standout performer for the Raiders, dominating on both the ground and through the air. He racked up an impressive 129 rushing yards while also leading the receiving corps with 93 yards and a touchdown, proving to be a dual-threat weapon that the Patriots struggled to contain. Quarterback performance was highlighted by Drake Maye, who threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Las Vegas's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Patriots showed resilience, with Germaine Pratt leading the charge with three total tackles, while Harold Landry III delivered a strong performance with two sacks. However, the turning point came late in the game when the Raiders' defense stifled a late Patriots drive, preventing them from closing the gap and sealing the victory for Las Vegas. The combination of timely stops and effective offensive execution ultimately dictated the outcome of this playoff showdown.
